Testing various AI art generators – ChatGPT, Bing AI, Midjourney, Dall-E, Runway, Kaiber, Stable Diffusion etc – and how they can be adopted into creative workflows like After Effects.
I don't have concrete opinions yet on whether or not AI art is art BUT I heavily agree on the protecting copyright issues. It's still early days of AI art but it will only get better. My personal opinion is that AI is just another tool to a workflow – a means to an end. Most of what I'm doing are tests to learn the tools available to eventually move towards bigger picture possibilities.
I've seen similar arguments from the Special Effects community back when Visual Effects were introduced to consumers. VFX was eventually adopted into the industry but as a different type of art form.
